Role Overview:

  • Supervises and manages all subordinate employees on their work site(s).

  • Provides practical employee training and instruction in the field.

  • Completes jobsite inspections, and ensures adherence to all company safety policies and procedures.

  • Responds to safety incidents and/or inquiries from workers in a timely manner.

  • Provides coaching and feedback to division employees, and assists employees in developing new skills.

  • Completes annual performance review for all subordinate employees.

  • Ensures project plans, timelines, and industry standards are met.

  • Communicates daily progress report and other project updates to senior management and clients.

  • Works with project team members/ clients to respond to, resolve, or escalate project risks.

  • Evaluates and tracks employee productivity using established project tracking procedures and ensures individual project conformance with overall company objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Mandatory 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role in addition to 5+ years of direct experience in Outside Plant (OSP) construction. Must have thorough knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; strong people management skills.

  • Ability to manage people and build highly motivated and empowered teams.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Effective problem solving skills and ability to lead teams through difficult problem analysis resolution.

  • Exceptional time-management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to effectively communicate, and coordinate with employees, management and customers.

  • Must have a clean drivers abstract and the ability to pass a criminal record check.
